Quasar SEO
Case Study
I created Quasar SEO’s first website, giving the business a place to explain its services and invite potential customers to get in touch.
I developed a visual style from its existing logo and organised detailed, client-supplied content into manageable sections.
Website Design and Development
Making detailed SEO services easier to explore
Quasar SEO needed its first website to introduce its practical approach to SEO and digital marketing for small businesses. I designed and built a site that explains its services without overwhelming visitors, using the supplied copy to create clearly defined sections, service cards and dedicated service pages.
The client supplied the logo and written content. I selected complementary colours and fonts, sourced images and brought these elements together into a consistent website. I also created a blog to give Quasar SEO a space to publish advice and explain digital marketing topics in more depth.
The Approach
Giving substantial content a clear structure
The main challenge was presenting a large amount of explanatory text. SEO can be technical, and prospective customers need enough information to understand the support available without having to work through a wall of copy.
I organised the supplied content using clear headings and separate sections, with service cards helping visitors identify relevant areas quickly. Dedicated service pages provide room for more detail, while grouping digital marketing services within their own navigation section makes them easier to find.
With no brand guidelines beyond the existing logo, I also needed to establish a coherent visual direction. I used the logo as the starting point for colours, selected suitable typography and introduced icons and images to break up longer passages and give the pages a more varied rhythm.
Design and Usability
An approachable design with room to read
Quasar SEO presents itself as a direct, plain-speaking alternative to a larger agency. I designed the website to support that: modern and informative, with clear navigation and manageable sections that help visitors explore the business and its services.
I built the layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile, and considered colour contrast and readable text sizes. An accessibility tool also lets visitors adjust text size, line height, alignment, fonts and contrast, alongside options for greyscale, highlighted links and a reading mask, giving them more control over how they read the site.
Clearly grouped services
Service cards and dedicated pages help visitors find relevant support and explore the details.
Flexible reading options
An accessibility tool gives visitors controls to adjust text presentation, contrast and reading aids.
Space for advice
A blog gives Quasar SEO a dedicated place to publish practical guidance for small businesses.
The Outcome
A first website that explains the offer clearly
The finished website gives Quasar SEO an online home for its services, approach and advice. Its structure is designed to help small business owners understand the support available and find a relevant service before deciding whether to get in touch.
The site has only recently launched, so there are no meaningful performance figures to report yet. Matt’s feedback highlights the value of having one responsive point of contact, clear guidance throughout the project and thoughtful attention to accessibility.
Matt at Macast Media did a great job building the website for Quasar SEO. Having one point of contact who is responsive, kind and easy to work with made the whole process much smoother. Whenever I lost track of where we were in the process, Matt was great at clarifying things and keeping me on track. I particularly appreciated their thoughtfulness around accessibility, making sure the website includes features to help people with disabilities use it more easily. I'd happily recommend Macast Media to anyone looking for a website built with care and attention to detail."

Beyond Launch
Monthly care to keep the website working well
Quasar SEO has my monthly Support Plan. I monitor and maintain the website to help reduce security risks, respond to issues, apply software updates and check that the site continues working as expected. Daily cloud backups provide up to six months of rolling restore points if a recovery is needed.
I also review technical performance and make reasonable improvements as part of ongoing maintenance, alongside accessibility reviews and adjustments where needed. This gives Matt continued support with the website’s upkeep as he develops the business.
