The process starts by contacting me and telling me a bit about what you need, and I’ll give you an idea of cost and next steps.
Discovery & Fixed Quote
If you’d like to move forward, I’ll send a discovery questionnaire to learn about your business, your customers and what your website needs to achieve.
Based on this, I’ll provide a fixed quote for the project.
Contract & Deposit
Once you’re happy with the quote, you’ll receive a contract outlining the work, steps and payment structure.
A deposit secures your place in my production schedule.
Design & Build
I design and build your website, sending private preview links along the way so you can review progress and provide feedback before the website is completed.
Website Launch
Once everything is approved and the final balance is paid, the website is launched and ready for your customers.
I handle the technical side and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Ongoing Support
After launch, most clients choose an ongoing service plan so their website stays secure, updated and looked after.
If you prefer, the website can also be handed over for you to manage yourself.

How much does a website cost?
The cost of a website depends on the number of pages, features and the overall design requirements. Contact me and we can discuss your requirements.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. Projects are split into milestones and each stage is invoiced separately. Work begins once the first milestone is paid, and each stage must be completed before moving on to the next.
Do I need to provide the text and images?
You will need to provide the main information about your business, services and any images you would like to use. I will structure and refine the content so it works well on your website. If you don’t have text or images, I can assist.
How many revisions are included?
You will be able to review the website at each milestone and request reasonable revisions. Larger changes or additional features outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
What happens after the website is finished?
After the website is launched, you can either manage the website yourself or choose an ongoing website care plan where updates, backups, security and maintenance are handled for you.
Do you provide hosting and domain names?
Every website needs two things: a domain name and hosting. The domain name is your website address (for example, www.yourbusiness.co.uk), and hosting is the service that stores your website and makes it available on the internet.
I don’t provide hosting directly, but I will help you choose a reliable hosting provider and set everything up for you. Your domain and hosting are always registered in your name, so you remain the owner of them.
What happens if the project is delayed?
Projects can be paused if content or feedback is delayed. If a project is paused for a long period, it may need to be rescheduled to fit around other work.
What is a Support Plan?
A Support Plan covers ongoing updates, backups, security, performance optimisation and general maintenance to keep your website running smoothly after it goes live.
Do I have to have a Support Plan?
No, you can manage the website yourself if you prefer. However, websites require ongoing updates, backups and security monitoring, so most clients choose a Support Plan so everything is handled for them.
Can I cancel a Support Plan?
Yes, Support Plans can be cancelled. If a Support Plan is cancelled, full website access will be provided and responsibility for updates, security, backups and performance will transfer to you.
What happens if something on my website breaks?
If your website is covered by a Support Plan, I will investigate and fix issues where possible and restore backups if necessary at no additional cost.
Do I have to have a website with you to use your graphic design services?
No. Graphic design services are available on their own, but many clients choose to have both their website and design work created by me so everything stays consistent and easier to manage.
